This plan is for anyone aged between 1 and 60 years old, who want a plan that not only gives them protection and savings, but also assists them in fulfilling their religious obligations.

How can PruBSN Ummah assist you on top of your Tabung Haji savings?
PruBSN Ummah is not a replacement for your Tabung Haji account. It complements your Tabung Haji savings by providing you with additional savings and Takaful protection.

When is the loyalty bonus paid?
The loyalty bonus is paid as a percentage of your contribution when any of the following events occurs:
The longer the Takaful term, the higher the bonus you receive. In addition, your loyalty bonus will continue to grow even after you have used it as a Hajj Allowance for as long as you continue to pay the contribution. The loyalty bonus will be payable subject to the events mentioned above.

How do I make arrangement for Badal Hajj?
In the unfortunate event of your death or total and permanent disability before performing Hajj, we will make the necessary arrangement for Badal Hajj to be performed for you. We will pay RM 3,000 to your nominee (preferably your next of kin aged 18 years and above) or Tabung Haji Travel & Services for them to perform Badal Hajj for you.

How do I benefit from Islamic Will Writing services?
We will provide you with all the necessary arrangement needed for your will to be made in a hassle-free environment. The will you make will be managed by Amanah Raya Berhad.
You will only need to pay a one-time fee for this service. |
How much do I contribute for this plan?
The minimum monthly contribution is RM50. However, your actual contribution amount shall depend on the following:

What are the charges involved in PruBSN Ummah?
The basis of PruBSN Ummah is the Wakalah Bil Ajr model where we put your contribution into your account after we take a portion of it as Wakalah charge. This is a fee for the services we provide.
The table below lists the details of the Wakalah and other charges.

How does sharing of Investment Profit on Mudharabah Principles work?
The Mudharabah principles allow any investment profit arising from the Individual Special Account (ISA) to be shared between you and us. On profit-sharing basis, you will receive 80% of the investment profit, while we will receive the balance 20%. Your share of the profit will be placed back into your ISA.

Would I receive any Surplus from this plan?
You are entitled to receive at least 50%7 of the surplus distributed (if any) on yearly basis. The balance of up to 50%7 is shared with us as an incentive for managing the Tabarru’ Fund.
